Project overview
Les zones construites jouent un rôle essentiel dans la plupart des changements environnementaux et sociétaux sur la terre ; cependant, il est difficile d’avoir une estimation fiable de leur étendue ou empreinte au sol. À cette fin, le Centre Spatial Allemand (DLR) a produit récemment l'empreinte mondiale des zones habitées pour l’année 2019 (WSF2019) à une résolution spatiale de 10 m. Cette couche a notamment été obtenue en utilisant une nouvelle approche basée sur l'intelligence artificielle qui exploite conjointement les images radar et optiques de masse librement disponibles collectées par les satellites Sentinel-1 et Sentinel-2 de l’Agence Spatiale Européenne (ESA).\n\n BREAK
En utilisant MapSwipe, vous pouvez aider à confirmer la présence de bâtiments à des endroits spécifiques, ce qui permettra d’améliorer la qualité du produit WSF2019. Cette couche d’information sera utilisée dans de nombreuses applications dont la gestion des risques de catastrophe.
