In addition to being transmitters of local knowledge, they take on key responsibilities in natural resource management and environmental protection. Their active participation strengthens resilience in the face of socioeconomic and environmental challenges. In emergency situations, it is essential to have effective tools in place, especially given the potential impact on the female population. In the Amazonian context, mapping takes on particular importance due to the region’s vulnerability and the urgent need to preserve its valuable natural resources.
