Mapping in areas with high levels of multidimensional poverty becomes critically important, as women play a vital role in Indigenous communities, contributing significantly to social cohesion, cultural preservation, and community sustainability. In addition to being transmitters of local knowledge, they take on key responsibilities in natural resource management and environmental protection. Their active participation strengthens resilience in the face of socioeconomic and environmental challenges. In emergency situations, it is essential to have effective tools in place, especially given the potential impact on the female population. In the Amazonian context, mapping takes on particular importance due to the region’s vulnerability and the urgent need to preserve its valuable natural resources. This process, by providing detailed information, supports strategic planning against threats and contributes to the implementation of adaptation and protection measures, helping to ensure the long-term survival of the region and its people.
