Project overview
This project is part of the 5th edition of the Mapathon 2025, organized by the Peruvian Space Agency – CONIDA under the motto “Map Peru, Transform the World”. The initiative seeks to promote the use of space technology and young talent to address the country’s major challenges through innovative solutions.
In this edition, strategic areas have been prioritized in collaboration with partner institutions, in order to generate geospatial information that is highly valuable for territorial planning, risk management, and the design of public policies.
The collaborative work that emerges from the Mapathon not only contributes to the creation of open data and geospatial products, but also strengthens the capacities of youth and professionals, fostering a community committed to sustainable development and the responsible use of space technology.

HOT Tasking Manager Geometries
This dataset contains shapes that are ready to use in the HOT Tasking Manager. Currently, the geometries consist of maximum 15 MapSwipe Tasks, where at least 35% of all users indicated the presence of a building by classifying as "yes" or "maybe"

Our license
This project is part of the OpenStreetMap community. The goal is high-quality geographical data, freely accessible and available to everyone. OSM’s reciprocal license protects the data from being appropriated by services that do not share back to OSM.
MapSwipe is released under a "liberal" non-reciprocal license (Creative Commons Attribution). Whenever you want to use the data, just make sure to credit the MapSwipe contributors.
