Over 90% of the approximately 2 million people in Gaza are living in displacement due to the conflict with Israel. Most are unable to return to their homes due to extensive damage and an unstable ceasefire. Despite the challenges, more than 800,000 Gazans returned to northern Gaza from the south following the peace agreement in October 2025. Understanding the locations of new tents is critical to locate where people are in need of humanitarian aid.
