Rural Urban Planning (12)
Project overview
The identification of prevalence of housing developments in rural areas in Namibia. Demand for housing has increased in Namibia over the last ten years, land delivery for housing projects has decreased. Planning agencies are working on finding solutions for increasing delivery of land for residential purposes, this would require the acquisition of land in rural areas within the proximity of proclaimed urban centres. Mapping housing developments will aid in understanding the status quo and propose interventions.
