Noma Disease (15)
Project overview
In northwestern Nigeria, including the Sabon Birni region, many people suffer from Noma - a neglected disease that affects those living in poverty. Up to 90% of people affected by Noma die within the first two weeks, if left untreated. MSF offers patient care and outreach activities to treat and prevent Noma. Therefore we seek to create base maps to support teams on the ground, to reach isolated rural populations.
