Project overview

Climate change has intensified droughts in Gokwe, Zimbabwe, leaving communities without access to clean water. Local wells have dried up, and agricultural activities have been severely impacted. To address this pressing issue, a climate change researcher is utilizing geospatial technologies like MapSwipe to gather crucial data. This information will be used to inform government officials and NGOs about the most effective strategies for mitigating the effects of water scarcity.

This dataset contains shapes that are ready to use in the HOT Tasking Manager. Currently, the geometries consist of maximum 15 MapSwipe Tasks, where at least 35% of all users indicated the presence of a building by classifying as "yes" or "maybe"
