Project overview
Gujrat, a dynamic city in Punjab, Pakistan, is increasingly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, including extreme weather events, urban flooding, and shifting agricultural patterns. As a region with significant economic activity and dense populations, it is crucial to equip Gujrat with accurate data to address these challenges effectively. This buildings mapping project aims to improve OpenStreetMap data for Gujrat, enabling better climate resilience planning. By identifying areas with building footprints and infrastructure data through MapSwipe, mappers can support initiatives in flood risk mitigation, sustainable urban development, and disaster preparedness.

HOT Tasking Manager Geometries
This dataset contains shapes that are ready to use in the HOT Tasking Manager. Currently, the geometries consist of maximum 15 MapSwipe Tasks, where at least 35% of all users indicated the presence of a building by classifying as "yes" or "maybe"
