Find - Buildings - Supporting Climate Resilience (2)

Project overview
Turkana, one of Kenya’s arid and semi-arid land counties, relies heavily on pastoralism as the primary livelihood. However, frequent droughts, erratic rainfall, and rising temperatures have intensified resource scarcity, fueling competition over water and pasture and contributing to social tensions and conflicts. Despite the critical role of these resources, data on their spatial distribution remains limited. This project seeks to address this gap by identifying and mapping key resources. By supporting the identification of built up areas, your efforts will support this region’s climate resilience.
